The effects of working night shift
I saw a story on the news about working night shift. It seems there is some strong scientific evidence that people who work night shifts are more likely to have heart problems, diabetes, obesity, etc. Well, ain't that a kick in the pants. (I really hate the word "ain't".) (I really hate the word "hate" too.) So, I'm sitting here at work just watching the clock tick down to 0600. I know that when I finally get home, I'm gonna sleep until I can't sleep anymore. Then I'm gonna walk around like a zombie mom until I can't stand it any more. Then I'll put my kids to bed and make them read in their rooms. No wonder my kids are such great readers; I make them go to bed too darn early. Anyway, then for the next 2 days I will walk around feeling like I have the flu because I've stayed up all night tonight. When I finally get my body back on the day schedule and start to feel okay, I will go back to work and start the whole cycle over again. I'm not sure who I think is listening to me. I've just looked up about everything I can possibly think of online and have nothing else to do for another hour. Well, I guess that's not true. I could watch "Married with Children" or another "ExtenZe" commercial.

Hey Skeeter! Hehe, I'm listening! I too am bored... only I am not working, like I really should be, instead I'm not working on my math presentation. I'm sorry about the night shift dillemas, it kind of sounds like the pitts.
Although, at least you get to blog I guess. I thoroughly enjoy the fact that you now have a family blog. It's inspiring really, and I think that I should continue the project of creating a family blog that I started to long ago.
Hey Teri,
It's great to hear from you. I know you only live 5 miles away but I miss you anyway. I never get to see you.
umm... ya... I don't work the night shift... so whats my excuse??
