Noah's New Blankey!

Noah's "Rogers" cousins each donated a t-shirt that represented them for a t-shirt blanket for Noah.  Then G'ma Sheila and Aunt Debbie and Aunt Melanie started working to put it together and have it signed by each of the cousins.  So Cute!  I got the border finished last Saturday night, just in time for Noah to be sick with it on Sunday!  He's better now....probably thanks to the magic healing power of his "Cousin Blankey"!  Yay!  Thanks everybody!!!!!  HE LOVES IT! :)

Jacob's Graduation

Congratulations to Jacob!!

Jake has been ready to graduate from elementary since about...let's see....day 1 of sixth grade.  I cannot tell you how excited he is to be moving on to Junior High next year.

  So besides just graduating, he was also voted MOST ATHLETIC by his class and given an award.  Way to go Jake!! You're Awesome!!

My first REAL cake gig!

A friend of mine called the other day and said she heard that "I do cakes". Well, naturally I said, "Yeah......I do cakes." So she asked how much I charged....and WALLA a new career was born. Hehe. So there you have it. It doesn't pay as much as nursing, but it's definately more fun. :)

Ohhh!!! The Power of Prayer

At a recent Stake Conference, our Stake President gave a wonderful talk about prayer. He encouraged families to make it a regular practice to "kneel" together before the Lord in prayer. We decided to give it a try.

It began well.

Look at us, perfectly kneeling. We almost look like the family in the primary pictures.

But then after a few weeks, it turned into this...

And after a month, things began to go down hill...

At least Hunter is faithful with his scripture study!!!

Our Newest Addition

This is our new PUPPY!!!!! Yay! She's a total sweetie. Okay really we got her about 6 weeks ago, but I didn't want to jump the gun and say we had a puppy before we gave her a test run. (Seeing that we have a history of getting puppies and then giving them away cuz they are too "puppy like".) Haha, right DAD! :)

Andi's Birthday Cake

Tonight we hosted a birthday party at our house for two of my nieces. Andi turned ONE and Kenzie turned SIX. I made the cake for Andi. Kenzie got cupcakes with her name on them. Her mom is making her a power puff cake later this week. :)
